The live-action Akira movie has received a premiere date slated for 2021.
The adaptation of the classic manga will open May 21, 2021, Warner Bros. announced Friday. Akira is set to open opposite Lionsgate’s John Wick: Chapter 4. Earlier this week, Warner Bros. moved its animated movie DC Super Pets off of the weekend, pushing it back a year to 2022.
The Hollywood adaptation for Akira will officially premiere in the US on the 21st of May, 2021, hopefully giving the producers enough time to avoid a full-fledged disaster like most American manga, anime and video game adaptations tend to be.
Same as GITS ; make the live version a total fail and japan sold the animated version remastered at high price behind.
