Legendary visual novel developer Key has announced the name of their new secret anime project, prosaically titled “Charlotte”, and also released a teaser trailer that divulges very little about the project.
The new March issue of Newtype magazine has given the release date of “September 2010” for the previously announced Gundam 00 theatrical film, news sure to enliven the day of many mecha fans.
The coming end-of-year means the end of several TV anime, but will also usher in a new crop of new shows to take their places (and timeslots.)

Here is the complete schedule for anime releases for the summer, extending into the autumn as well, with some twenty titles set to air, as well as a number of OVAs and films. There are definitely some titles to watch out for; the new Slayers series and the Blade of the Immortal series spring to mind immediately, as well as Sekirei and the third season of Zero no Tsukaima.
