Long running classic Inuyasha is set to be given a new series dealing with the as yet unanimated portions of the manga (which itself finally concluded after a marathon run some time ago).
The new series will see volumes 36 to 56 of the manga animated, so it looks set to be a long running production (the original anime ran for four years).
The anime is set for an autumn broadcast, by which time much additional information will doubtless have been made available.
The previous anime continuation made nary a ripple, but doubtless this will be a different matter…
So wait, they’re going to finish the unfinished animated series? But why, any real inuyasha fan would have just found a website that had the manga scans. Just do some reading. Beside it’s better because the manga series explans more and has more things happen in it.
Holy s♥♥t.
This is one of the worst ideas I’ve ever encountered.
wait, so after watching for 7 years it turns out that there is new eps after ward? f♥♥k…..
Oh wow, talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel. The number of people pissed off at the end of the original series would have stopped this, but suprises abound (ok, not really). Inuyasha was never that good (and this time it wasn’t a crappy dub. Take that, anon!). Every episode seemed like Endless Eight (same formula with only minor changes) and just over all wasn’t very engaging. Not to mention the whole DBZ similarity. I actually hadn’t noticed that until I read some of the other comments.
Bleach = fail
Death Note = overdramatic fail
Dragon Ball = mini-fail
Inuyasha = fail fail
Naruto = ninja fail
One Piece = pirate fail
Saiyuki = fail
Damn. Just damn.
So what will be the next anime remake? I would love a new Negima anime that would follow the manga storyline (I really want to see the school festival arc animated and I doubt the new OADs will cover much of the magic world arc). I would also want a new Gantz anime that doesn’t end in filler.
