A Chinese Shingeki no Kyojin music concert in China was so bad that the audience was already yelling for refunds before it was even done, with Japanese people wondering if the concert was even officially licensed in the first place.
While at the start of the concert, the audience was quiet, it didn’t take long for people to start yelling and asking for their money back from such a poor-quality concert. One of the concertgoers who filmed the incident wryly said, “Good luck,” and even after the concert was over, the furious people continued to yell for refunds.
Japanese people who found out about the incident wondered if the concert was official and whether the video played at the back was even legally obtained, considering this was China. Some speculated that since the instruments weren’t even in tune, it might’ve been an amateur concert. While many laughed at yet another example of ‘Made in China,’ others praised the audience for standing up for themselves.
They got the Shingeki no Kyojin experience. I don’t know why they were complaining.
I’ve seen high school music productions display more competence than this (which is saying a lot because of the poor state of American schools).
I think this is a case of “what’s the cheapest price we can get away with?” The people who attended this event should look into the background of the performers to see if they’re even professional musicians.
Seeing how there were just a few “musicians” there, then it should be obvious that they wouldnt be able to perform on a high scale (well, depending on experience but these were not even amateurs). But that still doesnt change the fact that this still was a concert were people payed money for, obviously expecting something (at least) good. Official or not, doesnt matter.
If it were free, then it would have been a different story but it wasnt free. So, of course people are gonna get mad.
At least they didn’t pay to get eaten or ripped apart.
I guess the outrage all depends on how much they charged for the tickets.
