Kadokawa Acquire Propaganda Outlet Anime News Network

Anime News Network, a “woke” anime news site known to get overly offended at “insensitive” things in anime, is being acquired by the less than trustworthy Kadokawa, perhaps signaling that the anime and manga industry is about to enter into a decline.

Anime News Network’s entire article on the matter:

Many believe that Anime News Network’s corrupt views and tendency to lie about anime and manga will end up infecting Kadokawa and its releases.

Those familiar with the site will probably know that they are part of the “mainstream news” clique that spreads propaganda about anime and manga, on top of complaining about things that are “offensive” in said fictional media.

Their “reviews” of anime had them calling the sweet Sewayaki Kitsune no Senko-san “uncomfortable baby waifu sh*t“, as well as falsely calling Darling in the Franxx “right-wing propaganda”, and the site’s writers often take issue with sexual content involving under-age characters (despite them being fictional), such as with Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon.

Anime News Network’s CEO and Executive Editor admitted they would censor any “dissenting opinions” on their forums in regards to Kaifuku Jutsushi no Yarinaoshi, back when it was airing.

The cesspool is also infamous for being angry at Tate no Yuusha no Narigari because a female antagonist fakeda violation accusation, with the website asserting that innocent and pure women never do such a thing.

They also accused Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru of “fat shaming”, when it merely promotes healthy exercise, got offended by the Nekopara anime because of the “cat girl slaves”, when they clearly aren’t slaves, and have even stated that using the word “trap” will result in a ban, when it is not an insult or “hate speech” in the slightest and has never been used as such.

The website’s CEO has even dismissed valid criticism by merely calling those who disagree with him “alt-right dorks”.

Possibly worst of all however was when the website wrote a slanderous article about Western voice actor Vic Mignogna, suggesting he inappropriately touched a fan against her will when the fan herself admitted he didn’t, and that she was never questioned about the matter by the outlet.

This “reporting” was immensely irresponsible as it helped stir up a mob attack towards Vic, despite the fact that Vic’s later defamation court case revealed no physical evidence of him “abusing his fans” – this attack was made worse when it was realized that Vic’s colleagues despised him for being religious.

This turn of events will surely have some remembering the company’s president making that fateful remark about censoring manga, and considering a part of Kadokawa is owned by Tencent and the company now owns a woke outlet like Anime News Network, it is perhaps implied they might start censoring their works for the sake of “political correctness”.
