An unofficial source has revealed that a Dragon Ball Heroes anime may be on the way, perfect for those saddened by the conclusion of Dragon Ball Super that need more poorly animated fight scenes of their favorite Dragon Ball Z characters.

The anime (as indicated by its name) is meant to promote the Dragon Ball Heroes arcade/card game and will adapt an alternative to the manga and anime’s “Universal Survival Saga”, it will also adapt the “Prison Planet” arc – how many episodes this anime will possess has not been unveiled.
The non-canonical anime however will be pre-screened on July 1st at Koshigaya’s Aeon Lake Town, multiple episodes however will be compacted together to extend its length.
It’s not rumoured, it’s confirmed in V-Jump of this month.
Also, it’s not “Universal Survival Saga” and “Prison Planet Arc”.
It’s just the Prison Planet arc.
