The next big 3D Mario game, Super Mario Odyssey, has gotten a slew of gameplay PVs courtesy of E3, revealing that one of the main mechanics will be Mario’s ability to take the form of almost any being or object and sure to be another brand new gameplay experience for Mario fans – much like the previously unveiled Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.

If this doesn’t kickstart the Nintendo Switch, nothing will.
Third party developers are hesitant to make the effort with the Switch, but something that sells a s♥♥t ton of units may just encourage ports.
It’s not like it’d be impossible to port most Xbox or PS4 games to the Switch. You’d look at it like with PC gaming. You’d have the high settings(PS4, Xbox One) and then you have the very low(Switch). It’d still run.
They won’t. They know that nobody in their sane mind will skip a $250 PS4 where you can get more bang for your buck + best third party support + cheaper prices overall just to be stuck in a mario machine playing old downgraded ports that will still cost $60 even 2 years later…
Even Bethesda isn’t wasting time promoting Skyrim on the Switch, they noticed that in the end only fanboys will buy it, so just drop a link/mario dlc in….
Nintendo still makes good games but the whole package of good mario games/rehashes/bad overall system support/lack of features/weak hardware/missing tons of titles/etc looks less and less attractive to average consumers every year.
but…xbox has better Customer support, better marketplace, and better games, the PS4 is just an
overpriced Game Crash simulator (this coming from a person who has only played PS until i switched to the 360)
