Mega-otaku Melonpan, famed for his dakimakura fondling and dating a Nia dakimakura, appears to have some inner turmoil regarding his hobbies and has announced his separation from posters, figures, dakimakura, pantsu, moe and anything else that stands as proof of his once-proud otaku-ness.
Given Melonpan’s dubious status as one of the most identifiable foreign otaku in existence, his departure will surely be met with disappointment by many.
Melonpan made his original post on his blog last month (Out of Moe) which contained his announcement that the otaku “spirit” has left him and that everything otaku related, save his DVDs, are destined for sale or the trash bin, though at the time it was not taken too seriously.
That was followed up earlier this week by Out of Moe 2, which contained more of the same, including comments that otaku act like “little girls” and several other disparaging remarks.
This appears to not just be idle talk from the once great otaku, as the photos accompanying his two posts will attest:
Quite the painful sight…
At least we will always have the wonderful Nia date and dakimakura raep to remember.
If it were an ex-christian it would throw away all it’s religious dolls too.
B&E?
lol lol lol
that`s expensive
Another Densha Otoko?
I think I have to puke. This is the worst. Really.
