So many “long-running” publications are coming to an end recently.

The thing is, it’s becoming ever clearer that the rumors about this situations are true. Which would be that authors are collectively pulling their own works from publication because of the newly conceived copyright regulations which are designed to essentially take every right from the author and give everything to the publishers/editors.

That’s also the reason why Ken Akamatsu is a true hero for cutting of Negima out of protest against such devilish regulations.

Since Japan is one of those countries which gladly spread their legs for ACTA and the like, i can only hope that the outdated and superfluous corporate publishing mafia in Japan chokes to death on this shitstorm.
