..Is it strange I was slightly sad about this news and I don't even like K-On?
I mean, I watch it still..but only when I'm needing something to do while I eat dinner, since I don't want something with a plot to watch when doing something like that. Now what plotless show will I watch when I need something playing in the background?

I for once am happy about this news. I personally didn't like K-On, and not to say I wish it didn't exist, but it also didn't need three seasons. Goshdarn moeblobs.

For me, I'm pretty indifferent. It's a fact of life the Anime and Manga will end. Gotta learn to deal with it.

Might as well go out on top. It couldn't last forever, though. However, if the K-On fandom still remains strong after the end, there could be a possibility of the continuation. But it's better to go out on top than to stay in the game too long just to fade and burn out.

Season 4: yui becomes an uber serious and intelligent teacher to cover and hide her intensely dense and cutesy past, she becomes the Adviser for the light music club where the new members all figure out how dopey she secretly is. She tells them they won't be teachers or musicians when it is time to pick career ideas. One of them, who is very serious and like metal becomes the next teacher and adviser. She hides her metal past by acting Cutesy

I think a lot of Otaku will be sad but I wonder if they will vehemently remember this show in 20 years when tons of other moeblob anime come out in succession. I don't think it was anything noteworthy but it was cute.

K-on will be around for awhile, we all know this. The TV series may end but the success of this caliber will be in different formats like theatrical.

Well, i'd feel sad about it because K-ON is one of the very few charming and innocently funny shows over the last couple of years. I don't really mind it being "moeblob" and chaotic in nature as long as i feel good after watching a new episode every week.
At least that's more than i can say about various other formulaic, repetative and borderline hentai series lately.

I think this is actually positive news: A brand new manga/anime, perhaps even better than Kon, will most assuredly take its place. ;)

Will this end the way Naruto did? Every time it's supposed to be over, it's remade with the tiniest differences you hardly notice them. But then again, this could be for real... you never know. How badly do the creators want money?

Haven't we seen K-On! Supposedly "End" before and then jsut come back with the 2nd Season? It really wouldn't surprise me if there's going to be SOME SORT OF continuation. Whether that is with the current cast or a different one.

Can't say I'll miss the show, but I will miss the music.
