Nintendo has published its Consolidated Results for the six months ended September 30th, 2019, and 2020, revealing that their latest console, the Nintendo Switch, has now sold over 68.3 million units.
The sales for the Switch include the original release of the console as well as the Nintendo Switch Lite. With the new milestone, Nintendo’s newest console has surpassed the classic 1983 Famicom, which to date has sold 61.91 million units.
The company expects to sell over 24 million units between April 2020 and March 2021.
The Nintendo Switch officially launched March 3rd in 2017 and since then, has become one of Nintendo’s best-selling consoles of all time.

I have no use and don’t care about portability for game console. I would consider a Switch Station: one without any screen, battery @ even lower price. Or bump up the specs since this SKU won’t be limited by portable form factor of cooling and power draw concerns.
