Nintendo Switch Online “Selling Well” In Japan – Honest

Amidst all the complaints and rage over Nintendo’s online service, it seems many disgruntled Nintendo fans have proven to be all talk as Japanese retailer Tsutaya claims that Nintendo Switch online prepaid cards have been “selling well”.

The prepaid cards are being sold in Japan in 2 different forms: 3-month and 12-month plans, with the 12-month plan generating the most demand – causing Tsutaya to theorize that this demand might be due to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as a 3-month plan would end near to the title’s December 7th launch.

If Tsutaya (who operates over 1,000 stores throughout Japan) is to be believed about how their prepaid cards are selling well, then it seems Nintendo may yet be free to offer even more absurd services in the future – EA may finally have the rival they deserve.
