Nintendo Labo users have shown off the full extent of the glorified cardboard as one innovative individual has managed to completely recreate the game of Battleship, a task that required the creator to make his own cardboard contraption.
The construction was apparently made with MDF laser cutting and was shown off at an event in Osaka – a video of the game in action:
Those previously critical of the Labo may perhaps change their tune at the sight of such a marvel, though how much of the thing was made with work-arounds only actual users could probably say…
A lot of this seems to come from his own knowledge and merit rather than the Labo’s capacity. I bet he could have done it with just regular cardboard if he wanted.
It’s never been about the labo’s capacity. It’s about what the switch can do. The labo just gives an accessible way to use those capabilities.
I get that most of these are just semi popular articles from random sites, but f♥♥k man, did you buy some cardboard and want to tell yourself you didn’t get scammed?
Just buy a damned Arduino.
I was thinking the same thing there is nothing here you could not do with a Raspberry Pi or even an Arduino.
Heck I probably could implement this little game on a Commodore Vic-20 through the user port.
Just do X. There’s a lot of things you can do like, “Just play a fucking clone of the game on some flash game website”, or “Just program the game on C++, Java, etc.” like, who gives a f♥♥k, just let them have their fun on their preferred platform.
You bought this $80 cardboard box, didn’t you?
+1
I’d call Labo the retard’s arduino.
But that’s not Nintendo brand!
True, it’s too high-spec for Nintendo.
What is arduino?
it’s a pokemon
Something you would never have a mental capacity to use
that’s why nintensheeps buying these turds
I never thought I would find a comment section more cancerous than youtube, but here we are. Just ban everyone here from the internet.
