The newly launched Monster Hunter World has been receiving some raving (and not at all biased) reviews by many, though one particular trash mob has been garnering hatred from the community due to its tendency to completely stun lock players – a more fearsome foe than the gigantic beasts, it seems.

Whether this unfortunate occurrence is the fault of players or an over-tuned A.I. will no doubt be part of heated discussions online – Monster Hunter World is available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC now.
Who would be giving it biased reviews? The old hardcores were complaining about the streamlining and most other fans are completely justified in praising the graphics and quality of life improvements.

Loving the salty Nintendo fan tears. Played every game since MHFU and this is the best it’s ever been.
The game is a lot more casual than the previous ones, but I guess that is a good thing in your eyes since you think that this is the best one.
Monster Hunter XX(Double cross) is already out on the Nintendo Switch in Japan.

So, haven’t played this or even looked up anything about this. But surely there’s an item that prevents you from getting stunned… right? Otherwise this sort of trash mob with OP stun make no sense.

There is a skill you can equip on your armor but you wouldn’t do that for trash mob that you don’t have to fight and the big monsters are to be avoided not tanked so it makes little sense for them too.
