A new anime season for satanic combat anime Blue Exorcist has been announced, with the new iteration bound to possess plenty more of its staple religious references that may possibly convince weak-minded otaku into becoming believers.
The news was discovered by an early reveal of Jump SQ Magazine’s next issue, though there has been no acknowledgement whether this new anime will continue from the previous one or be something new in entirety – the announcement has been hinting that the new season may cover the Impure King arc however (which picks up after the anime).
A countdown ticking down to July 4th has also appeared on Blue Exorcist’s official website, the date for when the manga’s 17th volume gets released – many have hypothesized that new information will be divulged then.
His T-Shirt says “Thank you” with the number 39 underneath.
The number 39 is read “San-kyu”.
Is this significant?
I’m still waiting for Horizon in Middle of Nowhere’s sequel in Anime…
They will fund it if you can explain the plot so far.
I came here for the thick eye brow girl. Where is she?
Only reboot, like with FMA Brotherhood.
First series gone some weird ass route in the middle of the season, with Satan being lovey-dovey hurt puppy.
Dropped it at exactly episode 17. I hope they pick it up right after that and just retcon the rest.
Not even the middle of the season, they went with original content fast as hell!
It did get weird. It was especially funny how the anime tries to use the twins mother for that whole “it’s not that bad just misunderstood” slop, but very unintentionally told a weird story of temptation and deception that the Christian nut jobs warn against.
Well, Satan being reduced to evil behaviour is one of the signs that it is simply a made up story. OR if you actually believe it, means that God is pulling the strings anyway. But what does that tell you of god? A puppetmaster controlling the absolute evil trying to tempt you into debauchery and hedonism so he could banish your soul into hell for eternity.
