The latest game developer to show off their skills in the highly popular Super Mario Maker has been none other than Zero Escape creator Kotaro Uchikoshi, naturally unveiling his thought processes with regards to game design, and a Mario level made in the same vein.
Kotaro Uchikoshi’s Super Mario Maker level:
Super Mario Maker is available now for the Wii U – those who would like to try out Kotaro Uchikoshi’s level can do so with its level code: 31D7-0000-0241-CA1A.

Nobody wants that, give us a real game!!
I hate it when people put Hammer Bros and Bowers but no power ups. Those two are RNG and it’s nice to have an extra hit
i actually do have some respect for visual novel devs, but not as video game developers and i find it laughable to even put them in the same category.
the same way, i wouldnt ask a baker to make me a steak, i wouldnt want a visual novel dev to do level design.
I don’t think any of these developer levels have translated very well into Mario Maker.
They probably have to make it in the studio during recording, which doesn’t give them a whole lot of time to learn how the maker works and play around with the mechanics.
I imagine they’d make pretty decent or clever levels if they played around with it during their own time.
