Hardcore gamers have compiled a list of the games whose final bosses they find the “most fascinating”, the most popular franchises unsurprisingly dominating the ranking as the more unique yet obscure bosses are strangely nowhere to be found.
The ranking, boasting 10,000 votes:
1. Bowser (Super Mario Brothers)
2. Sephiroth (Final Fantasy VII)
3. Zoma (Dragon Quest)
4. Dhaos (Tales of Phantasia)
5. Dragonlord (Dragon Quest)
7. Cynthia/Shirona (Pokemon)
8. King Dedede (Kirby)
9. Kefka (Final Fantasy VI)
10. Big Boss (Metal Gear Solid)
11. Gilgamesh (Fate/stay night)
12. Green (Pokemon)
13. Ganon (Legend of Zelda)
14. Flandre Scarlet (Touhou Project)
15. Duke Pantarei (Tales of Vesperia)
So everyone in the comments are arguing about the positions of Kefka and Sephiroth… Meanwhile, I completely fail to see what’s even vaugely fascinating about Bowser.
An actually interesting final boss would be The Transcendent One from Torment 1.
Look at all the insecure fuckboys still whining about Sephiroth two decades later.
Big Boss is the final boss of Meta Gear, not MGS. #nerd
