Chinese authorities have apparently resorted to broadcasting the sunrise on giant TVs in public places as it is now invisible to the naked eye thanks to some of the densest smog ever.
Beijing smog was so bad the government warned vulnerable citizens to stay indoors lest they be poisoned, and visibility was barely that of a murky pool:
What sucks is that Chink pollution has now migrated across the pacific and is now polluting the U.S. west coast.
Oh well, the chinks are getting the worst of it. Their coastal cities are over 20 times the recommended healthy level of industrial pollutants. Over there you need a fucking respirator if you want a decent shot at not getting a lung disease before you’re 50.
So in many ways it echoes the kill ratio of the Korean War: 1 dead American for every 20 or 30 dead chinks.
The sunrise is a 10 second clip from a tourism ad for Shandong province, in China’s northeast. It is not the government’s doing nor does it relate the time of day.
The picture does highlight Beijing’s pollution problem in a very powerful way, but the stories made up around it are mostly false.
that is what you get for only thinking about OWN benefit without being bother about their effect or responsibilities to others. Kiasu
That look like some kind of Dystopia Sci-fi Film.
Instead of fixing the problem…
