Creepy otaku are complaining that Mio Akiyama‘s honour is being besmirched by the shocking decision by her seiyuu Yōko Hikasa to wear a ring, which in otaku eyes is apparently regarded as a step below a brothel worker.
The seiyuu can clearly be seen scandalously sporting one of the incriminating objects or her left hand, on the left – as yet nobody knows why, leaving the door open to wild and utterly baseless speculation of the type 2ch excels at
Some even go so far as to say the seiyuu is “damaging Mio’s good name,” such as it is.
This of course comes on the heels of Aya Hirano’s scandal sparking decision to wear a ring, which prompted denials from Hirano herself.
Curious then, for a pro to make such a blunder, if it is indeed such…
they should shut up bout this…like those otaku’s would be single all their lifes =.=
Some of us PREFER Slut-Mio. Hell yeah.
Christ, I hate the world. Sometimes I wish Japan was nuked more then twice.
you guys are right they take things too far. She’s an actual person leave her to her own devices. As it’s been said before her life shouldn’t reflect someone else’s what she does in private isn’t for us to try and figure out or harshly bash
f♥♥k’n crazy otaku giving the rest of us sane otaku a bad name. (Of course I’m an American otaku; it’s almost like a different species…) I almost s♥♥t myself with disbeleif when I heard the Japanese otaku rage over the manga character Kanagi form the manga/anime of the same name having a boyfriend in the past. A f♥♥k-ton of female seiyuu out there who voice popular characters are married. Sheesh. Get a fucking life.
Just because you’re damned to being an eternal virgin, doesn’t mean you have to make some voice actor or fictional character stuck in the same boat as you.
I know there are nice otaku in Japan; look at Densha Otoko. (We should be happy for him.) What if some some pretty female seiyuu hit it off with a single nice male otaku? Are we so sick as to damn the both of them? What a sickness.
