New Berserk Anime Announced

A new anime adaptation of Kentaro Miura’s epic dark fantasy manga Berserk has been announced.
The announcement is by way of the obi of the latest volume of the manga, but is sparing with the details – “a new anime project has begun” is all.
Just whether this will be an OVA or a full TV series remains to be seen, as does whether this is in some way connected with the leaked Berserk anime images seen in 2009.

If Madhouse had the slightest intention for a second season of Claymore, I'm sure there would have been a "to be continued if we can be bothered" ending, rather than them making something up for the sake of closure.

We lost 4 beloved girls, but beacuse of that, almighty Kentaro Miura has finally given us a continuation of Berserk in one form or another~

First season was shit anyway. I highly doubt this can do any better in adapting best manga (and the BEST story in the whole fucking human history) any better, until it is a total remake with 50+ high quality episodes and no fillers.

Hoping to God the manga chapters start releasing regularly.
They are being released regularly....I read Young Animal religiously and Berserk is still going. Miura just gets more time than most mangaka to do his stuff so it's not every 2 weeks like most of YA's stories, more like 1 chapter every 6 weeks.

Griffith!!!! This is the best news in the whole month. Many moe fans probably won't even know Berserk, but it was one of the best localized animes I've watched. The English dub was perfect, if only they use the same VA again for the characters.
