Gundam: Suisei no Majo ended with an ambiguous ending regarding the relationship between Suletta Mercury and Miorine Rembran, but the director confirmed their same-sex marriage in a recent interview.

The epilogue tells the story of the world three years later. Was this decided from the start?
Hiroshi Kobayashi: “We had decided to write an epilogue, but we decided on the specific number of years later. The ending itself is similar to ‘The Tempest,’ with Suletta and Miorine getting married and becoming partners.”
Suletta and Miorine’s voice actors, Kana Ichinose and Lynn, were the first to confirm the characters’ same-sex marriage in a Gundam: Suisei no Majo interview. However, it wasn’t without controversy after the mention of their marriage was deleted from the digital publication of Gundam Ace. The publisher later issued an apology for deleting the comment.
Nothing about this show was good. There was no romance either. Writers just fucked up in every way possible.
That’s what happens when you rush a Gundam show from the usual 50 episodes to half the size, a lot of the development was rushed or skipped. A good example of it is how the MC’s new Gundam was introduced right when the series would usually be at the halfway mark.
Nobody was watching the show and the bd sales were bad so it makes sense that they cut it short

I mean TECHNICALLY he’s not wrong. Usually if a show requires something to be clarified outside of the confines of any of its actual content then that’s going to lead to a lot of the people who actually -consumed- said content not knowing about whatever the thing in question is. While I personally think there was no question they got married I do also think that the people actually watching and buying stuff didn’t give a s♥♥t about it and were just typical Gundam fans, whereas all the people who care about whether the two are gay or not were just typical social media grapevine retards.
