Animaniacs 2020 More Political Than Ever Before

The 2020 revival of the classic Animaniacs series has once again covered “topical” political subjects, briefly mentioning political individuals and presidents such as Obama, Hilary Clinton and, of course, Donald Trump, and bound to have many questioning the accuracy of some of the jokes and scenes.

In typical Animaniacs fashion, the show utilized the medium of music to discuss various real-world subjects, such as politics:

Legions of diehard fans were ecstatic to witness the new show but some had their expectations diminished due to a trailer that appeared before the show’s debut, as it made mention of “mansplaining”:

As lovers of Animaniacs already know, the series has never shied away from injecting politics into the children’s show, but considering current year and the absurd propaganda constantly pushed out by certain individuals, many were expecting the show to be forced into committing to the narrative (which, in some instances, seems to be the case).
