Keiji Fujiwara, a seiyuu that has voiced countless roles in anime and games, has passed away at the age off 55 after losing in his struggle against cancer.
The news of the accomplished voice actor’s death was announced on the official AIR AGENCY website, a company where Fujiwara served as representative director.
The site expressed gratitude towards all the fans who have been supporting the company all this time and noted that a ceremony was held for Fujiwara, attended only by relatives.
Some of his most prominent roles included Crayon Shin-chan’s Hiroshi Nohara, the narrator for Sgt. Frog, Gintama’s Hattori Zenzou, Fullmetal Alchemist’s Maes Hughes, and Final Fantasy VII Remake’s Reno.
