Kyoto Animation has announced the release date for the Violet Evergarden film, which was delayed due to the arson attack in July.
The premiere of the Violet Evergarden film will now be on April 24th of next year, according to the official website. Before the arson attack that killed 36 Kyoto Animation employees and injured a further 33 people earlier this year, the film had been set for a January release.
The film’s makers also thanked fans for their continued support, and said that the studio’s staff were putting all of their heart into the production.
