Life-sized anime figures for the currently airing magical mecha series Granbelm are being sold to lucky otaku who somehow command a wallet size of at least ¥2.4 million, the eagerness to procure such items perhaps being indicative of not only the drive of otaku but their perversion as well.
Cute anime girls Mangetsu (18kg) and Shingetsu (20kg) were turned into life-sized figurines and put on display at AnimeJapan and at exhibits in Akihabara, now they are being sold to lucky raffle winners:
Wealthy individuals looking to rid themselves of ¥2.4 million in exchange for the capable anime maidens can sign up to the raffle before October 7th – the figures are scheduled to be shipped out in November.
If you had the skills you could 3d print & paint your own figure for a lot less. You could even 3d print a 1:1 scale figure by printing the sections individually lol.
The material rolls for 3d printing are also super cheap and could in a wide range of materials. Including polycarbonate. Any skilled anime superfan could easily make their own figure.
I’m not sure if you’d have the time, money, motivation and interest to do, not only for one figure, but a lot of different figures.
If there are people who can afford such figures, are they perverts? idiots think so
Or maybe they have such a hobby? Or do they buy cheaper or win the lottery, and then sell more expensive?
I do not understand people who call them perverts
faces look awful
With that amount you can get a live size look alike sexdoll of the two model…
thats $22,445 for anyone wondering
Well, that’s not so bad for a price. man, imagine how much more the price would be for joints and stuff. I hope they did the nails well.
