In an attempt to squeeze out whatever little profits possible due to flopping in theaters, a massive 13-minute preview for the live action JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable Chapter I movie has emerged, with its poor performance proving shocking to few considering live action adaptations of anime have a long history of being poorly made.
The 13-minute PV which appeared only 2 weeks after the movie debuted in Japan:
The failed film generated a mere ¥166 million on 117,000 admissions, ranking only 5th in its first weekend before disappearing from the top 10 completely by its 2nd weekend – the film’s gross profits have yet to be revealed.
this is what happens when you dont white-wash it with better actors and actresses
now when something flops watch as all the fucking normies start screaming HAHAH LE JOJO REFERENCE XDDDDDDD
Jojo #5 looks like he’s wearing lipstick.
#4 sorry
Japanese acting can be defined as “big ham”. They overact so much and are such poor actors that 90% of Japanese real life series and over half of the movies are absolutely unwatchable. Japanese can’t emote for s♥♥t and when they try, they come out as fake as f♥♥k.
Takeshi Kitano would like to have a word with you, boyo
who else tho
This, one time watched a japanese movie with real actors, never fucking again.
Here’s the problem: By *deliberately* cutting all ties with the first three parts (not even mentioning Dio ONCE, in spite of the vampire setting the wheels of the entire SAGA in motion)), the film is born into a disjointed and confusing universe that expects you to understand an internal logic that logically dosen’t even make sense WITHOUT Dio or the Pillar Men.
