The secret announcement hidden within Bayonetta‘s April Fools’ joke has turned out to be its highly anticipated PC release, finally gifting action gamers who love all things scantily clad the opportunity to enjoy the game whilst sat in front of their grimy keyboards.
The launch trailer; even those worried about the English dub can relax as the Japanese voice over will also be available:

Sucks we didn’t get Bayonetta 3. But these days, devs are milking old games by re releasing endlessly, especially on the PC.
I can push you off a balcony, if you like.
Fucking spammer.
The demand exists and I’m glad they’re doing it.
A PC port accomplishes so many things, ranging from access for people who didn’t own the console to be able to play it, people who are interested in playing the game at a high resolution and framerate, to things like preservation of games for the future.
It’s a commonly spread rumor that Nintendo lost a lot of their classic games and currently uses pirated emulators/roms to redistribute on their virtual console.
ummmm you do know that the original game already ran at 60fps on Xbox360 don’t you?
PS3 was of course a different matter… that console sucked. Power of the cell indeed hahahaha
ummm did it run at 60fps with a 4K resolution?
I guess not…
Nintendo didn’t miss place any their games. They have a warehouse that houses most games, mech, and other oddities from even before NES. Now, third party games, the don’t keep close tabs on those. It’s up to Capcom, Square, whomever owns SunSoft now, to store their own games.
Don’t know why they use a ROM unless there was a issue putting it on the VC.
You mean Sega. It was Sega who didn’t make money off this game which is why they didn’t want to make Bayonetta 2. This steam version is only $20 and people are going to just pirate it again anyway so I don’t think Sega will care to fund a 3rd game.
spoken like a true pirate thief
>released on PC does not mean it will be pirated.
You silly goose
just because it is released on PC does not mean it will be pirated. Look at the PC sales in contrast. You know what does more damage than pirating to the game developers? Used games sales, stores like Game Stop selling used games hurt the developers more since they do not get a penny from it. Yeah, how about that? bet your limited brain capacity was not able to think about that.
By ‘devs’ you mean nintendo?)
Nintendo doesn’t make money of this, as they weren’t part of the original’s production.
Thats a little short thinking. Bayonetta is not a AAA Cash Magnet, so with this newold Realese there is an Chance for new Money wich means a Chance for a new Game if this sell well.
Well, it’s a Japanese developed game and Japanese developers usually don’t give a s♥♥t about PC gaming unless it’s a game they know is gonna sell like pancakes both in Japan and outside of it.
This has proven to be a good and profitable franchise, so the risk is very low.
Playing Bayonetta with a keyboard is like playing FPS with gamepad – you say it’s better this way, but you hide the fact that you can’t afford a decent gamepad.
For my PC, I use keyboard, mouse and/or Dual Shock 4, depending on the game. I could also use a steering wheel + pedals, twin joysticks, touch screen, guitar, etc if I liked the games that are meant to be played that way.
A PC simply has the widest variety of input forms, your comments makes no sense at all…
