The official website for the currently airing Regalia: The Three Sacred Stars has revealed that the series will cease broadcast after premiering its 4th episode, an event bound to go unnoticed by many considering the seemingly non-existent interest that anime fans have shown for it.
The statement provided by the show’s official website revealed that the reason for the show’s cancellation was due to a “recognizable difference between the show’s planned quality and its current quality”, with the studio apparently planning to “re-do” the series and air it once again on September 1st, starting from the first episode.
While such drastic actions are typically rare, viewers can be forgiven for speculating as to whether there was another reason why the anime was cancelled, considering the quality seemed to be on the same level as any other generic show of the season…
The BD and DVD releases will be delayed by one month due to the circumstances.
Visual quality is better than qualidea code …
Finally at least one studio has the decency to admit they’re making garbage. Now let’s hope the rest follow suit so we can get some actual quality animation instead of “quality” animation.
Poor little robot girls, i hope still no matter what they have size a breasts. dont change that!
what’s this has to do with breasts?
even though i did like the series i can understand why they are doing this cause as the series was it was all over they place and should be alot better than what was giving so i am glad they are doing this make this series better and i look forward to watching it i the fall
Maybe the sense of direction went wayward? The animation quality was good, so it must’ve been the story, which was substandard. They probably wanted something better (For more revenue?).
But yeah, I’ve been watching animu for over a decade now, and this is the first time I’ve noticed a studio doing this.
I’m sure it’s not the first time it’s happened, but it sure is a first in the anime I’ve watched (I end up watching close to half of the airing anime in any given season, may I add.)
