Atelier Sophie‘s latest trailer has demonstrated more of the franchise’s trademark alchemy along with a brand new outfit for the innocent Sophie, utilizing her unfathomable cuteness to charm vulnerable watchers into purchasing the game.
The informative trailer:
Atelier Sophie: Alchemist of the Mysterious Book will unleash its alchemy on November 19th for PS4, PS3 and Vita.
Looks great! I can’t wait.
Why does this look exactly like the last 7 or so games in the series?
Did you play any game before? I don’t see that synthesis system look exactly at all.
He’s talking about visually, like the locations.
Because Atelier games sell like s♥♥t in Japan so they put no effort into them. They really should invent a new franchise and hope it attracts an audience.
Seriously, look at the first week sales for an average Atelier title in Japan, they’re embarrassing.

What is your problem if fans of this franchise isn’t going to complain about another series, hop over to the Resident Evil – Umbrella corps section if you seek innovative game (sarcasm) Everyone play games for various reasons, some likes the graphic, while some likes the characters and so on. Now, how much effort did FPS games’ developer put into their work, one would wonder. But you can’t deny there are fans no matters which genres of games we are talking about.
While you are entitled to your opinion but kindly keep them to yourself if you don’t even like or play this game. Thank you.
thats a shame, i personally like the Atelier series slightly more than the Tales of Series which sales well in japan.
i’m sure if they did put more effort into Atelier it could possibly outshine the Tales Series. not in story elements but in the form of gameplay for sure.
It’s a completely different kind of game from the Tales series, what are you talking about. Atelier has some battle mechanics tacked onto a resource and time management simulation.

This reminds me of one of the first locations you visit to collect materials in Atelier Meruru Plus. It’s like Gust copy paste general locations from game to game.
