Bandai Visual joins the legion of companies to suffer embarrassing hacks, having been forced to take a number of its sites offline as a result.
According to Bandai Visual’s official statement, intrusions on a number of its sites were detected, and whilst it works out what happened it will be taking them offline as a “precaution.” It does not say when they occurred or how long it took for them to be detected.
Bandai claims none of the personal information stored on the affected servers was compromised, and that as no credit card details were stored there is no danger of credit card fraud.
The sites affected are .Anime, Emotion Family Club, Digital Beat, and Digital Bambino.
Damn it its those no-good chinese hacks again =_+ first they got bored with CIA s♥♥t and now they’re hacking other major corporation sites……. sighs…..
Well, they can just get some underage androgynous female to destroy Cubia can’t they?
What’s the problem?
Well, it doesn’t seem as problematic as previous hacks. Btw, sony got hacked last week, but there was no report of it over here?
“Bandai claims none of the personal information stored on the affected servers was compromised”
Ain’t that what they all say at first? You better block your card now, before they change their annoucement when it’s too late.
my first thought is “why?, what do they even have?”
