Scenes of hundreds of live pigs being shovelled into a pit with the aid of a backhoe and then buried alive as part of a recent South Korean foot-and-mouth cull have shocked animal-welfare advocates.
The video, which as the description suggests may be disturbing, at least to people ignorant of where their meat comes from:

Why it was considered too much trouble to kill the pigs before throwing them in the pit is not clear.
Just whether the pigs would have been any better off being shot in the head and gutted at a slaughterhouse in the usual manner (assuming Korea practices at least minimally “humane” slaughter, somewhat doubtful in light of the video and various other incidents) is of course a matter of some debate.
fucking bastards i wish you hitler therapy. you really need it. More little boys for you bastards

Wow all I see are congressmen and senators.
Where are the pigs?
Obv the pigs are being killed because they have some infectious virus/bacteria that can spread to humans. Why would you use a bulldozer and white biohazard suits? There’s no human contact with the pigs. Technically, the pigs need to be burned completely. Virus or bacteria will be totally destroyed with high heat. Burying them could contaminate the soil and groundwater. So the question is: burn pigs or let the virus spread?
Christ on a crutch…they could have killed the pigs…WITH the backhoe. Just run the fucking thing in a closed space with them.
ASIANS ARE LAZY AND STUPID.
