Osaka’s manga ban is already in effect, and as the above list from a shop demonstrates, has already seen dozens of publications banned from general sale as “harmful publications.”
Unlike Tokyo’s ban, Osaka’s ordinance is mostly concerned with banning BL manga – with the Tokyo ban being extremely vague and covering everything from general manga to anime and games, the list there is likely to be much longer, and effectively national in scope due to the largest market and concentration of publishers both being in Tokyo.
I wish Otakus will run for a spot in the government…
(at least those who are somewhat adept in politics…)
or at least create some Otaku-faction in its government
(coughs blood…)
ops…
i guess i talked too much…
(cleans the splatter on the net floor)
if japan goes on a rampage with the ban, i shall call out a revolution!!!
lol, i sounded like a terrorist ._.
first boylove then girllove after that the normal hetrolove … then dialog about sex after that all erotic stuff like clothing at first skirts or muscle shirts no bath scenes.
“no more blushing FFS, keep your face together”
once something like this ban is in place it will escalate to more then just BL. As History allready did tell numerous times.
ohh yeah for a while it will be only BL, for sure, right, every mind is at peace with that. And only anime manga what ever, right …
It’s just the whole witches hunt all over again first BL what then? On BL fans who do dark magic with that stuff will just be burned to death. after they all died we will find something else we can burn, yuri, people who drink water?
Regulation like this always put us back to the dark ages … that is something we are good at, finally some blood and fire? Ohh wait, crap I collect BL … f♥♥k!
Osaka looks better in this banning than Tokyo because 1: Makes clear what to ban.
2: Even the Toraburu and Kodomo no Jikan looks more for child near to lady comics. (Despite how I hate that two mangas.)
3:At least the video game is not in at this ban…not yet.
If Tokyo wants a ban, should copy the Osaka style.
At least it doesn’t have a risk mangas become a 4kids-like quality.
f♥♥k these bans, i guess they really should all go digital in the next 5-10 years.
