2ch is mulling over yet another anime classification system – this time presenting positing that anime heroines can be divided in “main heroine” and “sub-heroine” groups and pondering which is best.
Group C is also offered:
In case it is still not clear:
Group A – Main Heroines
Group B – Sub-Heroines
Group C – Secondary Sub-Heroines
Of Group A it is noted that “the psychotic main heroines in Group A are unlikely to become most popular and tend to breed lots of haters” – certainly a noted trend amongst the characters selected.
However, another observer wryly notes that “anime fans tend to be masochists so that must be why A is so popular.”
Additional inclusions fitting the pattern are also suggested:
A: Mikoto, Yui, Konata, Reimu
B: Kuroko, Mio, Kagami, Sanae
C: Saten, Ritsu, Tsukasa, Marisa
Predictably, most anime fans seem to be succumbing to the wiles of Group B…
Usually the character you see the least in an anime tends to be my favorite.
sometimes i love main char, sometimes i love subchar, sometimes i love support char
Reimu and Marisa have been the main player characters since before Koumakyou. They’re both in Group A.
Group B would be the “been a PC in more than one of the STGs” group. The likes of Sakuya, Youmu, Aya, and Cirno go here.
Group C would be “been a PC in one of the STGs, and an opponent in one or more STGs”. Sanae, Yukari, Yuyuko, Remilia, Suika, Alice, Patchouli, etc., go here.
Group D would be “never been a PC, but appeared as an enemy more than once”.
Group E would be “enemies or NPCs only”.
So, yeah, Sanae is one spot too high, and Marisa is two spots too low. What were they thinking?
Based on this flawed categorization, I am all for Group C & then Group B & tend not to enjoy Group A, at least from what I’ve seen so far anyway…
They should have added Sub/Hybrid Groups like;
Group A
Group A/B
Group B
Group B/C
Group C
& They need also should have added a Group D as well which by my logic would also be adding a Group C/D…
Whatever, I’m all for the previously mentioned Group E as it simply depends for me when it comes to a favorite “heroine”…
I prefer to think, behind every heroine is a sub-heroine agreeing with everything she says. And behind every sub-heroine is a secondary sub-heroine rolling her eyes at them both.
