Hot on the heels of the official Final Fantasy XIV PC comes a selection of Square Enix approved PC hardware ranging from mice and controllers to, of all things, a “made for Final Fantasy XIV” router…
All that is missing is a Square Enix endorsed ISP – presumably limited to 15 hours a week of usage.

Coincidently I had to spend hours examining my rooters firewall logs to figure out how to enable the awful download program square happened to make for FF14… so that router up there might actually be somewhat useful. Then again, setting it up to be decent is a lot harder than just sticking a logo on it. So I have a guess what they did.
Maybe I’m paranoid here but a Final Fantasy router? Could it be that Square Enix has the ability to spy on its subscribers? Maybe it’s not only the router that’s bugged but all the hardware that is final fantasy themed.
of course you’re paranoid. why would SE want to spy on a piss-ass-no-good-consumer such as yourself? the data they will collect from your SE certified $3000+USD FF14 computer is just for the lulz. o, don’t mind about all those SE popups that copies the same graphics over and over. it’s just a minor bug they haven’t worked out. it seems that their computer also inherited the copy pasta virus from the game.
f♥♥k that game I could not even get the sound to work in the open beta test but it worked fine in the closed beta test, if you buy this game and the sound is fucked be forewarned
Oh brother, maybe they should make mice works in their game before trying to sell one.
