Type Moon visual novel derived anime Canaan is set to receive a three part cinematic adaptation set to air in October.
However, rather than be another piece of the mixed media franchise centered on the hugely successful Wii visual novel 428 (soon to be released on other platforms), the production will instead merely repackage the 13-part anime for theater going audiences, a move which few fans are excited about.

It is not like we don’t know what will happen, I mean, every Type-Moon visual novel anime I have seen ends with the heroine dead and usually the “hero” without the girl he actually liked.
Kara no Kyoukai, Kokutou married Shiki. Tsukihime, Shiki still has a relationship with Arcueid. Fate, Shirou and Rin pretty much have a good end depending on the route
