Sony has finished off its PlayStation 4 announcements with the news that the PS4’s “holiday” launch will see it retailing at $399, substantially less than the Xbox One’s $499.
As with the Xbox One however, the console still adheres to the same same bizarre parallel universe gaming industry exchange rates of $1:€1, actually going a step further in grinding down the British wretches who insist on maintaining their own currency by hitting them with the even less favourable equivalent pricing of $550.
Having beaten Microsoft’s conspicuously anaemic offering in terms of price, specs, line-up and consumer rights, little seems to suggest the next generation of consoles can belong to anyone but Sony…
This could be bad for the Wii. If they only do something about that stupid DRM crap, I might actually but one. Because, I personally don’t buy new games.
What’s with the constant expectation that Europeans will have to shell out the most for their consoles? Or is this the idea that euros are never more valuable than dollars?

Maybe they’re just doing what most business do and selling things at a discount in impoverished 3rd World oligarchies like the USA.
Microsoft failed again.
OPNE THE DOOR GET ON THE FLOOR, 399 FOR THE PS4!
