Tales of Vesperia Movie Confirmed, PS3 to Follow?

Happy news for Tales fans arrives in the form of confirmation that Xbox 360 “exclusive” Tales of Vesperia, the latest of Namco’s home console “mothership” titles, is to be adapted into a theatrical anime, to be released in 2009.
Other details are scarce, but given the quality of recent Tales anime we might be well served by this.
An earlier prediction on 2ch, made in 2007 before the release of the game, actually correctly predicted this, the release of Tales of Innocence and Tales of Rebirth…
Its remaining prophecy is that Tales of Vesperia will finally come to the PS3, which, if we consider the timeframe, cannot be too far off if the game is to remain current.
Are we to expect a “complete” edition sometime this year?

Can't wait for this to come out now. Too bad I can't get it right away. There's too many good games I need to play, so this one will have to wait. It's definitely not because I don't have any money and am completely broke. Definitely not it.
The movie is supposed to center on the backstories of the cast. Yuri will be in the knights with Flynn, Estelle being influenced by Alexei, Raven in the war, etcetcetc.

Should it come to the PS3 I hope it comes with the japanese track even though the dub is very good, I just want to hear Mai Nakahara's voice and Tomatsu Haruka's.
Theres still no sign of a release of ToV on 360 for EU players. I want to play iiiiit! D:
The 360 version had too many unvoiced scenes which lead some to believe it'll eventually come out "complete" on the PS3. Especially when compared to the second tier spin-off ToS2 which has voice in every scene except a few side quests.
uh, ALL rpgs have some voiceless scenes
yeah so? I was compare the AMOUNT of unvoiced scenes between a "mothership" high budget title and a spin-off low budget title

Well i really hope that ToV along with Star Ocean 4 will come to the PS3..I would certainly buy them...(well SO4 needs a few "fixes", like selectable dub or changing back the menu system and stuff..)
i would really hope it would be in OVA/OAV like the past TOP and TOS anime..though it would be nice if they could stretch it to 4-6 eps! if it turned out to be a series then 12-24 would be good but i hope the animation quality would be quite as good as the OVA!
BTW i never played any Tales games besides the ones that could be played on my OLD PSX(tales of destiny 1-2,tales of phantasia) and on an emulated GBA(TOP,narikiri dungeon 1-3 and tactics ....
cant afford to buy...damn poverty of the Philippines!
