A translation mod for Eiyuden Chronicle aims to be more faithful to the Japanese script by removing some of the more “inspired” additions, such as words like “chud” and more prose that isn’t found in the original characterizations of the many characters in the game.
Apart from internet slang, the mod also fixes grammatical mistakes that slipped by quality checks, with the only caveat being that the mod needs to be reinstalled with every new update, especially with a game like this that is still undergoing bug fixes and the like (though a sequel was recently revealed to be planned).

Total Trannylator Death
From the moment a game needs mods to fix it, it doesn’t deserve a single cent from me.
So when a looser mod from nexusmod will ban it, for being to offensive or some BS.
Fortunately, there are still places who will take in the mods that the bootlickers from nexus, banana, moddb and lover’s lab won’t take.
I have to agree with the other commenters here. The mod did fix the wokalizations in this game, and props to modders for doing that, but the aforementioned wokalizations shouldn’t have been implemented in the first place. If the original game dialogue was kept in, there wouldn’t be a need for corrective mods to fix it.
I’m curious how long it will take until the Mod is removed and banned by the publisher
