An 81-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in the back and stomach while visiting the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima and somehow remained uninjured after the assault.
According to the report, a witness called 110 near the Atomic Bomb Dome at around 11:30 a.m. on March 25, saying there was a man holding a knife.
The 81-year-old man, who was sightseeing from outside Hiroshima Prefecture, was stabbed multiple times in the back with a kitchen knife. However, the knife did not penetrate his skin, and his body showed no signs of injury.
The police arrested a 42-year-old unemployed man who was present at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder.
