The great wise wolf Holo begins her journey with the traveling merchant Lawrence once more, with a new trailer for the 15th anniversary anime remake of Spice & Wolf showing off the duo’s irresistible chemistry and playful teasing.
Sporting a new art style closer to the light novels and produced by Studio Passione, the new anime retreads the beginnings of Lawrence and Holo’s journey, although it has yet to be seen whether the anime-original character Chloe will return. Once again, Jun Fukuyama and Ami Koshimizu return for their iconic roles, with their most recent appearances as Lawrence and Holo being Spice & Wolf VR2.

All I want is a faithful adaptation. Love the original but I want the original story unchanged this time.
I read all the novels back in 2014 and it’s not like the anime changed anything important. They only skipped one book where nothing much happened anyway.
In fact, I think the anime made things flow better.
So they thought but the character they skipped (Elsa) becomes a recurring character later on and one could say is Holo’s best friend.
Not really. Or maybe the official translation changed the script, who knows. None of the characters from the skipped volume become all that important later on.
Floppy fox ears!!!!!
No thanks, anime studios these days f♥♥k up adaptions left and right, you can expect even less nudity than before. More and more censorship from a supposed based country is imposed.
Lovely lovely fox-girl fucking
But why is it a remake and not a third season? The art style is also worse than the original.
Remake, something about legal reasons since Kadokawa was being a c♥♥t which is also why the longer name.
According to the author this remake will include parts that were cut from the novel as well as restore parts they took freedom in changing in the first and second season.
What I’m more curious about is how much nudity will be there since the novel and even manga had more nudity than the anime.
why bother? we just have to eat the s♥♥t… These are the times now
Doesn’t really look enticing. I see shoddily computer animated npcs, washed out colors and everything is way too shiny. The original anime looked much better.
