Square Enix has announced a pair of DLCs coming to Final Fantasy XVI, with the now-available ‘Echoes of the Fallen’ and ‘The Rising Tide’ which is scheduled for release in spring 2024.
Here’s more about the Echoes of the Fallen DLC:
As the sun sets over the land of Valisthea, strange, dark crystals begin to circulate on the black market. Could they be the sinister fruit of a long-slumbering Mothercrystal—one the world never knew existed?
Setting out in search of answers, Clive and company encounter a group of suspicious traders. Their trail leads them to a long-abandoned Fallen tower known as the Sagespire and the terrible secrets that await within…
Special bonuses include a Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII’s Cloud Strife and the Away (1987) Orchestrion Roll for new background music.
Final Fantasy XVI’s Echoes of the Fallen DLC is available for $9.99, and The Rising Tide will be available in spring 2024. An expansion pass with both add-ons is also available for $24.99.
Jesus……. I forgot FF 16 even existed. lmao
Because it did not came on PC yet and the PS5 playerbase is a lot smaller than the one of previous generations.
I can just see this on the annual corporate earnings statement: “0 + 0 = f♥♥k you”
