Another April Fools’ Day joke is made into reality with Love Live! Sunshine’s spinoff Genjitsu no Yohane, which now has an upcoming platformer game adaptation in addition to the TV anime series coming later this year.
For those not really into idols, the spinoff features Yohane and the girls from Love Live! Sunshine adventuring around the port town of Numazu, with Yohane taking charge as an adventurer. The game takes place in an underwater dungeon that changes every time she enters, where she’ll need to rescue her friends, gaining new abilities with each one she rescues.
The game is being developed by Inti Creates, the developer behind several Megaman games and the Gunvolt series.
Genjitsu no Yohane gets a spinoff of a spinoff:

Could be fun.
Cool
The first episode wasn’t bad actually, it can avoid the stale format in the setting, the animation in the episode looked nice. The game though, not my thing.
The animations look nice, but after the atrocious design of Grim Guardians, I can’t be too excited for this.
getting that strong carbon copy of GalGun Demon Purge vibes, all cutesy girls doing castle raiders…now I wonder why this is a trend now?
I mean, yeah,I’d buy this one for a penny.
what’s next?! a Ryuuou no Oshigoto! version…hell yeah,team Charlotte/Mio/Ayano for the win!
