Compile Heart is at it again with a teaser trailer for a new game featuring Neptune from the Neptunia series, seemingly set in a company office.
The new trailer shows Neptune at the start, along with teasers of other characters who don’t appear to be her usual friends from the Neptunia games.
A series of four “curricula vitae” resumes are shown for four characters:
- “Me? I’m (confidential). I’m an insect hunter who travels through dimensions. Starting today, I’m the president of a game company!”
- “Call me (confidential) from now on!”
- “My name is (confidential). I’ll take care of the calculations. Do the math!”
- “I’m (confidential). Ah, you can call me Hakase (Professor).”
The “Do the math!” quote from the third curriculum vitae was the only part written in English and likely a reference to the old Atari ads for the Jaguar. While it hasn’t been confirmed as a Neptunia game, the new game appears to feature more personified video game companies as characters and possibly with a game company office as the setting.
The new title will be announced in the March 23 issue of Weekly Famitsu.

Considering Atari naming some of their consoles after cats (Lynx, Jaguar, the cancelled Panther) I can see Atari being a group of foreign catgirls who like burying their trash in the desert.

Maybe this will be some sort of a space sim. If only Compile Heart had the balls to leave Sony behind I’d be interested in their output.
