Samurai Maiden’s Sexy Pantsu Censored With Black Void After All

It seems the black void censoring some of the pantsu in past trailers for Samurai Maiden still exists after all as it was discovered that the pantsu is covered up whenever the player pauses the game, a compromise that will still leave many critics angry over developers continuing to control what content players are allowed to consume.

The discovery was made by a Twitter user who shared a screenshot depicting the game’s pantsu, and another that revealed the pantsu turning into a black void when the game is paused, no doubt to keep players from ogling them:

Judging from the button prompts on the one screenshot, it seems this is the Nintendo Switch version of the game, and the Nintendo Switch was known for usually allowing such service, which means the other versions of the game are probably censored as well.

Even when using Photo Mode, the character models will disappear if the player tries to get too close to them, preventing players, again, from staring at the girls’ pantsu:

It was noted by other Twitter users that D3Publisher, who published the game, is a subsidiary of Bandai Namco, and Bandai Namco previously announced their pursuit towards pushing political correctness in their games.

Samurai Maiden is available now for the PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch, and will come to the PC and the West on December 8th.
