The real deciding factor is going to be what the real reason for this departure is and how much of that behind the scenes is known among the rest of the Hololive members. If it’s Cover making questionable decisions trying to regain the favor of China I fully expect s♥♥t to hit the fan. If it was actually Coco’s decision and she came to a mutual agreement with Cover (say she’s effectively just going independent to both distance the controversies from Cover while also freeing herself from some of the rules Cover requires) it might be fine.
Considering how involved Coco was with the EN branch I do wonder if this will have an impact on the upcoming additions to EN that they had auditions for recently. In theory Coco might just be moving to a management position within Cover with all of the expansions outside of JP but we may never know if that’s the case.
