Elderly Man Drove Car for 1 KM With Woman Atop Hood

An elderly man is said to have drove his vehicle with a woman forcibly splayed across the hood for over 1 km, the result of a dispute they had as the woman tried to stop the elderly man from driving by her.

Taking place in Ibaraki’s Kasama City, a 78-year-old man was learned to have driven his vehicle while a 30-year-old woman laid on top of it – police say the old man tried to dislodge her by violently weaving and braking after traveling 960 meters.

The old man admitted to driving with the bothersome fly stuck to his hood but explained he had no intention of killing her, as police alleged the case might be one of attempted murder.

The old man and middle-aged woman (a dental hygienist) apparently didn’t know each other but ended up getting into a dispute whilst driving, with them then leaving through the Ishioka-Omitama Smart Interchange.

After this point, the strange female decided to get out of her vehicle and stand in front of the old man’s car, and as he tried to drive by her, she mounted his hood.

Police are investigating the matter further.
