The nearly imminent Mortal Kombat movie, which seems to retell the original tale, has astounded longtime fans of the series as the trailer seems to have a decent amount of promise, as it contains familiar characters and plenty of brutal fights.
Critics have shown concern over the movie potentially forcing in “pronoun culture” as there is a moment where Shang Tsung utters “Finish Them”, and while he may have been referring to multiple people, the trailer cutting to one-on-one matches afterward and the suspicious tweet issued by Jax’s actor suggest the “them” might have been added as part of the whole “inclusivity” narrative:

It has some nice visuals, but it’s going to be painfully woke. I didn’t even notice the “Finish Them” line. I guess there will be some tranny fighters. Johnny Cage is nowhere to be seen since he’s a straight white man hero and we can’t have that. Mileena is now black, because of course.
I won’t waste my time with this garbage.
