The Producer behind the Tekken series at Bandai Namco, Katsuhiro Harada, has expressed on Twitter he would be interested in making a Pokken Tournament sequel if Nintendo and the Pokemon Company were willing to permit such a project.
In the tweet, Harada stated that Bandai Namco Entertainment had a very good relationship with both the Pokemon Company and Nintendo and that Pokken Tournament was also well-received upon launch:
Pokken Tournament had two players battling against each other using various Pokemon in a similar fashion to Tekken and other fighting games. It would shift between a “Field Phase” where players would move their Pokemon inside the fighting arena and a “Duel Phase”, where the Pokemon battle.
3D Pokemon fighting game Pokken Tournament initially launched for arcades in Japan in 2015 and came to the Nintendo Wii U in 2016; it was re-released for the Nintendo Switch in 2017.
Maybe with Harada helming it, the game won’t fucking die as quickly as its predecessor.
Then again, Nintendo and TPC and Game Freak would still be calling the shots, so it’ll probably be s♥♥t.
Why would Game Freak have any say in a game they wouldn’t be developing?

This is no point in this since Nintendo bans any of their games/characters being shown in e-sport fighting tournaments. Nintendo files multiple DMCA takes downs against it’s fans, everyone now boycotts Nintendo products!

Man you are a dumb sheep, ask yourself why would I continue to support a company that enforces censorship? Nintendo still has a horrible track record of filling DMCA take downs against people streaming any Nintendo content on YouTube/Twitch.
