The Coronavirus might become an actual matter to worry about in the anime community as the fatal affliction consuming China has caused an upcoming episode of Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T to become delayed, an inexcusable turn of events for sure.
The show’s official website delivered an apology and blamed the Coronavirus for disrupting things:
“Thank you very much for regularly watching Toaru Kagaku no Railgun T.
Now, regarding the seventh episode planned to air on February 21st, it has inevitably been decided that the broadcast will be postponed due to the influence of COVID-19 (also known as the Coronavirus), which recently became a worldwide problem and has inconvenienced production.
In addition, the original schedule for February 21st has been modified, as we will rebroadcast last week’s episode six instead. Episode seven’s new broadcast date will be announced on the official anime website as soon as it’s decided. We apologize greatly for this unprecedented situation and for troubling fans anticipating the episode. We thank you for your understanding.”
Aside from causing fatalities counting in the hundreds and quarantine zones in China and elsewhere, the horrid plague also caused Nintendo Switch production to come to a halt, and will likely stymie various other businesses soon as well.
Damn those cheap chinese animators….
Don’t insult the animator, the first person to eat wild animals and get infected with the virus should experience the ten tortures of the late qing dynasty
Unless its been disproven it seems the virus came from a disease control facility about 300m away from the market and isn’t due to wild bats but ones used at the facility.
The virus could have come from the United States(* ̄3 ̄)╭🦠
Yeah! The chink animators don’t earn enough to eat wild animals. They survive on “recycled” plastic and lead, so the virus is not their fault!
@07:31
is it even being animated in China?
asking for a fren.
There’s plenty of them, they should just keep them all working getting new hires to replace those who fall sick. They can then upload the data somewhere, no need to get directly in contact with the chunks, so it can work.
Draw the whole fkng thing, and THEN broadcast it!!!
But people want it NOW! Why don’t you want for it all to get broadcasted and then watch without interruptions?
Damn these outsourcing hypercapitalist companies!!!
This would not be happening if the production had stayed inside Japan.
@02:38
this.
assuming it was outsourced that is.
f♥♥k you China. You and your bio-weapons…
f♥♥k China.
