IdolMaster fans have been given another glimpse at the upcoming “blasphemous” IdolM@ster.KR live action TV drama, with the rather lengthy PV formally introducing each of the show’s Korean idols and possibly making them likable enough to convince the naysayers to watch.
The 10-minute PV, which also handily possesses English subtitles:
A cover for the franchise’s theme song “The IdolM@ster” was previously revealed courtesy of the upcoming TV drama’s “B-Side” sub-unit, which will apparently serve as the live action show’s theme song:
A choreography video for the above performance was also unveiled:
IdolM@ster.KR will possess 24 episodes and is slated to air on TV in Korea on April 28th.
i am new to this,,,, ffff.. always late
I expect Nothing less from the Sankaku Comment sections. Nothing But Uninformed Fagetry throwing out random Hate comments to see who can get the most points for being a troll.
1) IM@S.KR concept was actually developed by BANDAI NAMCO’s Project IM@S devision, it is an official part of the iM@S family (yes same as Side-M so get over that too) and Bandai Namco’s Project IM@S has been closely working with the Korean developers to produce this drama.
2) This drama was and is NOT in development for the already large and thriving Japanese iM@S audience but was specifically designed to apeal to Korean idol culture/industry/etc. iM@S in korea has always been popular (more so than other parts of the world) but never could hit that Japan level popularity, This another attempt at them trying to capture and pull in a larger Korean fan base. as well as start something new and different to the usual iM@S formula.
3) The “PV”/first video listed is actually an Introduction video created for the .KR Group’s First Live Concerts and press concerts in Japan (COncert at Zepp odaiba tokyo, and fan events at Shibuya Tower Records and in Akihabara which all already happend.
4) If you care to actually Watch the real trailer and give the show a chance (forming an actual opinion instead of biased nonsense) Enjoy:

5) Its funny how I remember the Reactions to (the now extremely popular) Cinderella Girls, and Million Live being exactly the same… Haters, gonna Hate~
6) Yukiko, Sori, Haseo, and Minty best girls <3
825 Pro Fighting!
Please rename it to korean slut master instead. These bitches are just prostitues that cant sing which is why theres like 8 in one group.
This is just trash.
Oh please no, K-pop or other idol groups can do their thing, but stay the F away from anime and manga.
Seriously, media entertainment groups from everywhere should just come up with something original, instead of non-stop buying of brand names, not from the creators but from the corporate types owning the IP, and ruining the experiences for the fans.
